GIS Experience
SL Ross Environmental Research Limited has provided a wide range of
GIS services since 1987. We have developed our own in-house software
and utilized third party database, spreadsheet, statistical, Computer
Aided Design (CAD), Image Processing, and Geographic Information
System (GIS) tools to meet the needs of various project endeavors. We
have applied these computer oriented capabilities in the fields of GIS
database establishment, spatial analysis, data modeling, and digital data
capture and conversion.
Our current GIS activities focus on servicing the requirements of marine oil spill clients in the areas of contingency planning, spill impact assessment, spill fate and behavior modeling and spill cleanup.
